Maysa and Jeremiah--- Engaged!

I just love referrals! I met Maysa and Jeremiah from Mychau's wedding. Maysa is Yotin's cousin and is busy finishing school off and planning a wedding! Congrats to the future newlyweds! We ventured out the the Morton Arboretum on a chilly October morning to find a wonderful day full of color and life! Amazingly on that day, the weather didn't keep nature lovers from flocking to the garden to see and feel the last remnants of fall!

MyChau and Yotin Wedding Slide show

The wait is OVER! The MyChau and Yotin slide show is officially done. The day was planned so well and the photographs came out so good that it was hard to break it down to the 100+ pictures that actually made it to the final cut of the movie! Congrats to both of them as they begin this journey together. I am proud to say I was there when they started to date and was there to witness their union! They look so natural together and I was happy that they chose Patrick Louie Photography to document the day!

We have already completed a rough draft of their wedding book and I cant wait to finish that as well. We will post the final as it is done! Can't wait!

I had so much fun with this couple! I knew Yotin way back from my old OSCO days before he met Mychau. He was a goof ball back then. Christina and Ryan!

Rain rain go away! That was the theme this day, but the rain LOST! No rain could get in the way of Christina and Ryan's special day!

It cleared up just in time for the ceremony, pics, and reception! Wedding was at the Willow Creek Church followed by reception at the Hyatt, Schaumburg. Here is a quick preview! Gotta love that smile!!!

After the honeymoon is done, they are moving to Korea! Good luck!!!

Last week I had the chance to work with David Bracho shooting Renee and Jeremy at Dyer, IN. It was a great venue that was very well organized and full energy from everyone.

I've never been in that part of town, but they all made me feel right at home!

What a wild party!

I was so happy to shoot her graduation party. It was a crazy night filled with rain and wind and so much emotion from family and friends!

And this isn't the end of her schooling as she is moving on to higher education at Cambridge in London! GOOD LUCK!

I promised myself that I would blog more often!

I just enjoyed a holiday Wedding on July 4th with Tuyen and Mike!!! This was the first time I shot dual camera bodies with my new cameraslingers strap and I loved it. My neck was good
because the weight was distributed along my back. Its so nice to able to just switch cameras when shooting and not worry about switching the lens when those A-HA opportunities arise!

Here is a little preview. You guys were such a joy to shoot. I wish the best for both of you!
