We had a great time on that cold drafty day! Please feel free to check out the GALLERY. It is not unlocked as of yet, but check back soon!
Now on to the Wedding Book!
Hi, my name is Patrick Louie.
I am a pharmacist in study, but a photographer in trade and heart! I am the husband of my dear wife Michelle (the editor) and the father of two healthy boys (the monsters).
I blame my wife for pushing me into this profession. I blame her for forcing me to follow something that releases my passion to be creative. She is the one to blame when I catch that moment when a tear falls from a bride's eye during an embrace or when the reaction a groom expresses when he sees his bride to be for the first time walking down the isle in her wedding dress.
Thats what my life is. I love to shoot. You can blame my wife for pushing me to do this, but you can blame me for loving it!

Finally had a chance to finalize a few things for Nuong and Hao’s wedding. Its a great big family with BIG love. This was the first FAMILY wedding that I have shot and I’m proud and honored that I was there! Special thanks goes out to stephen, the second shooter for the event. It was a long day, but it was worth it!
We made a Dvd for the family of these slide shows, but this is for the “on the go” tech savvy relatives!!! You know who you are!
*Please note that the (HQ) button next to the volume is for the high definition version, and there is a FULL SCREEN option in the corner.
The entire event is finalized and approved… Located HERE.

I had a chance to meet some great photographers on the last meeting of the Chicago TTD group last sunday. I wanted to thank @MelissaDiep for getting the whole group together!!! It was fun to shoot in a group again. I haven’t done that in a while and I hope to be doing more of it! Even though I lived around Bunker Hill Park Preserve like all my life, I never realized all the photo opportunities that existed there! Major Win for the group meet… Major FAIL for us getting kicked out because of a permit!
Please enjoy some of my fav pics of the day!!!

Here are a few shots from Maysa and Jeremiah’s wedding. It was a chilly day but that didn’t keep these two from the altar! We started out at Alice Milar in Evanston and ended up at Manzo’s in Des plaines. I was so glad to be part of their special day! Here are a few previews of the day.
Congrats you two!!! You make a lovely couple!!!

Stained Glass was such a great backdrop!

One of my Favorite Shots!!!

We had fun with the piano!!!

Fun with the Micro PRO LED!!!
Thanks for visiting again! I have finally updated the blog site to WordPress and I am soo happy with it. I used moveable type and was so disappointed with the interface!!!
Ill be posting more often because of this, so please keep an eye out!!! Ill leave you with a cute picture of my son… I know, not really wedding related, but I always wanted to play with the wireless strobes to light up a car… In this case — lightning McQueen!!
I used 2 off camera flash (one under the car and on the side, Mcqueen didn’t like the catch light too much and the plastic frame was a little too thin so the red got to his face)
1 MicroPro LED for the hair line light (Just to see how i’d look)
I had a few better pics, but the model was a little fussy!!! I still LOVE the outcome!
